Oscar for Best Original Song: Listen To All 5 Nominees (2017)

This year’s Oscar nominees for Best Original Song are largely about hope and overcoming obstacles life throws at you. “Mighty River,” “Stand Up for Something” and “This Is Me” are all about rising above hate to create a more loving society, while “Mystery of Love” and “Remember Me” celebrate the highs and lows of love and loss. Taken together, they signal a confidence that the best is yet to come, and that we are stronger because of our setbacks.

As it stands now, “Remember Me” and “This Is Me” are in a tight competition for the win, with both songs earning the vast majority of precursor awards. But sometimes the Oscars like to throw a curveball, so the other three songs should not be counted out.

So which Best Original Song nominee is your favorite? Listen to all five nominees below and vote for your favorite at the bottom.
