The Make-up and Hair Stylist Guild (MUHS) Awards took place Saturday night, handing out awards for the best in makeup and hairstyling in film, television and theater productions from 2017. Oscar nominees Darkest Hour and Wonder were nominated here, with Darkest Hour winning two awards, including Best Period/Character Make-up and Best Special Make-up Effects. It is the clear frontrunner to win Best Makeup and Hairstyling at the Oscars.
Among the TV categories there were multiple double winners, with Big Little Lies, Dancing With the Stars, Feud: Bette and Joan, Henry Danger and The Bold and the Beautiful all winning for both makeup and hairstyling.
