Directors Guild of America Awards 2018 Winners Announced

The Directors Guild of America (DGA) announced their winners Saturday night, rewarding the best in directing for 2018. Alfonso Cuarón (Roma) won the top prize, cementing his status as the frontrunner to win this year’s Oscar for Best Director. Over the past few weeks there was some thought that Spike Lee (BlacKkKlansman) could surprise and take over as the new frontrunner, but after this loss, his chances significantly decrease.
