Critics’ Choice Awards 2017 Nominations: ‘Shape of Water,’ ‘Feud: Bette and Joan’ Top List

The 2017 nominations for the Critics’ Choice Awards were revealed by the Broadcast Film Critics Association and the Broadcast Television Journalists Association on Tuesday. Guillermo del Toro’s The Shape of Water led all nominations with a whopping 14, clearly cementing itself as a bigger contender in the race than the early critics wins have suggested. From there, Call Me by Your Name, Dunkirk, Lady Bird and The Post each earned eight nominations.

On the TV side, Feud: Bette and Joan was the overall leader with six nominations, followed by fellow limited series Big Little Lies and Fargo with five. The Critics’ Choice Awards will air live Thursday, Jan. 11 at 8 p.m. ET on The CW.
