Costume Designers Guild Nominations 2018 Announced

The Costume Designers Guild (CDG) has announced their nominees for the best in film and television of 2018. The guild breaks up their film and TV categories into contemporary, period, and fantasy. They are the biggest indicator of which films will be in the mix to earn a nomination in Best Costume Design at the Oscars, though last year we saw both Darkest Hour and Victoria and Abdul get in at the latter without the former.

This year’s ceremony will take place on Feb. 19.
